Mother has been confused today. She has started both physical therapy and speech therapy. The speech therapist indicated that Mother has expressive aphasia, meaning that she has troubling stringing ideas and words together. They will be working on this in rehab. After a strenuous day she is exhausted, but Tasha and Tim fed her at meal times, and she did better on caloric intake today than in quite some time.
